Solden Hill House Limited is seeking to hire full-time and part-time staff members who are passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities. As a member of the team, your primary responsibilities would include creating a respectful, accepting and tolerant environment where individuals can thrive.
You will be responsible for maintaining the records of our residents, encouraging them to independently complete personal care and contributing to the daily running of the house by cleaning communal areas, cooking, shopping and performing general household maintenance. At all times you'll ensure that the health, hygiene and safety of the residents are upheld. Additionally, you'll liaise with external agencies, families, friends, advocates and the management team to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual needs of each resident.
Successful candidates will ideally have previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. You should be self-motivated and capable of processing, recording and passing on information while accurately carrying out instructions. Confidentiality and the ability to prioritise your workload are also essential. You'll need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solden Hill House Limited is offering comprehensive induction and training, a funded DBS check, meals while on shift and a health cash plan. The job is available on a full-time or part-time basis, and the salary will be determined by experience.
